First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® are designed to work with all aspects of the holistic human makeup, including the personality, the chakras, the aura, the DNA, the soul and spirit – bringing together all aspects of the multidimensional holistic self into an equilibrated unity.

Flower essences work vibrationally through a natural non-intrusive process of resonance transfer where the harmonising vibration of the plant is transferred to the person who takes the flower essence. Because flower essences do not work on a physical level, side effects are unlikely.

Whilst many people experience changes within a few days, it can take up to two months to establish energetic alignment and changes within the holistic being. We recommend purchasing two bottles. Many people choose to continue using flower essences as an ongoing natural holistic wellbeing maintenance plan.

A 20-25ml blend of flower essences made for you in our dispensary or by one of our practitioners usually lasts four weeks.

Essential oils work through the olfactory nerves. The aroma moves through the nose into the limbic system associated with the reptilian brain. This is the ‘old brain’ that controls the release of hormonal substances into the blood stream, which in turn regulates all bodily functions. Essential oils can help to correct energetic distortions in the etheric and astral layers of the energy field.

Flower essences are plant vibrations held in water. It is a well-known fact that energy travels faster through water. When you take flower essences the harmonising vibrations of plants move through the whole being bringing natural harmony to all levels of the being, including physical, emotional, mental or spiritual.  Flower essences have no aroma.

First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® can be used alongside Homeopathics and other therapies.

Yes, they can.

No, flower essences are not like homeopathic remedies in that regard. You do not have to eliminate anything from your diet when you take flower essences.

Under ordinary circumstances no. The energetic or vibrational component in First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® is very stable. However we recommend not leaving flower essences next to computers, TVs or in full sunlight.

Yes, First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® are environmentally friendly and sustainably made. The native New Zealand essences are made in full cooperation with nature, which means all the necessary ancient protocols have been followed and permission from the earth guardians and plant devas has been received prior to making each essence. Only the small amount of plant material necessary to produce the flower essence has been taken from the plant and the plant is not harmed in any way in the process. When a mother tincture is made, it is then diluted into stock essences and then it is further diluted into treatment blends. This is a very sustainable method where a minute amount of plant material provides for thousands of treatment blends.

In adherence with regulations, most flower essence manufacturers stamp a batch number and “best by” date on each stock bottle of flower essences. Regulations do not allow more than 10 years from the date of manufacture for such product. However, if the flower essences are stored and used properly, the 10-year shelf life is a very conservative estimate. If stored and used properly, it is our personal experience—and that of other qualified practitioners throughout the world—that First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® flower essences can remain potent and viable for decades.

If your long-term storage area for the essences tends to be on the warm side (70 degrees Fahrenheit or 21 degrees Celsius or more for prolonged periods of time) it is advisable to store your flower essences upright. In warmer conditions, the alcohol may interact with the rubber dropper, creating a rubber taste in the stock bottle of the flower essence.

If stock essences are left open for a considerable length of time or if the cap is not screwed shut properly, the alcohol which acts as a preservative may evaporate. In this condition, flower essences can deteriorate due to microbial contamination. This will be clearly noted in the product—it will smell stale and there may be visible contamination.

The length of time that a 25ml flower essence blend bottle retains its energetic integrity is dependant on a number of factors. These factors are:

• Whether it has been opened
• How much alcohol it contains
• If the bottle and dropper has been sterilised
• External influences the treatment bottle has been exposed to e.g. strong sunlight
• If the dropper has touched the tongue or teeth
• The quality and purity of the water
• The quality of the brandy

If the flower essence blend bottle and dropper have been sterilized, the water is high quality and pure, there is adequate alcohol, e.g. 5ml/1 teaspoon of 37.5% brandy of good quality and remains unopened and is kept in the fridge it will retain its integrity for up to 6 months or perhaps longer. However once a flower essence blend bottle has been opened and is being used, it is designed to be consumed within 4 weeks and up to 6 weeks at the most.

If the intention is to use the flower essence blend bottle over a longer period than 4 weeks it is best to keep it in the fridge.

You can make approximately 60-70 x 25ml flower essence blends from one 10ml stock bottle.

The Practitioner Kit, included in your Certificate training, contains 84 x 10ml stock bottles. This means you can make a minimum of 630 personalised flower essence blends (with 8 essences in each). At an average charge of $30 per blend you have the potential to earn $18,900.

The Advanced Practitioner Kit, included in your Diploma training, contains 120 x 10ml stock bottles. This means you can make a minimum of 900 personalised flower essence blends (with 8 essences in each). At an average charge of $30 per blend you have the potential to earn $27,000.

Yes. If you have an existing practice, First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® will make a great addition to your services to clients. 

First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® are pure plant energies held in water. They work vibrationally to restore harmony and wellbeing on all levels of the being, including physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® can be used alongside other modalities, including homeopathy, herbal medicine, energy healing, hypnotherapy, allopathic medicine, massage therapy, life coaching and other healing or personal development modalities.

You can become a First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® Registered Practitioner by obtaining your Certificate (Cert.NZNFE) or Diploma (Dep.NZNFE) in New Zealand Native Flower Essence Therapy.

Yes. The Certificate (Cert.NZNFE) and Diploma (Dip.NZNFE) courses offer the highest standards of excellence and professional training. Certificate (Cert.NZNFE) students are required to complete 100 hours of study and exercises and Diploma (Dip.NZNFE) students require to complete 150 hours of study and exercises which can be done at their own pace. First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® provides access to what we understand to be the most comprehensive flower essence, vibrational medicine and holistic healing training currently available.

Yes. You can choose to do any or all of the courses. They are suitable for anyone with either a personal or professional interest in flower essence therapy flower essences therapy, vibrational medicine and holistic healing.

There is no set time frame in which to complete all the courses to be eligible to become a practitioner. Please note that when you enrol into a specific course, you have access to that particular course material in the online school for a period of 6 months from the date of enrolment (12 months for the Certificate and Diploma Course Bundles).

Yes. The central student register has a record of all First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® certificates issued. There is a small administration fee for the re-issuing of certificates. Please contact us to request a copy of your certificate.
