The Story of World Flower Therapy Day

A Living Legacy – The Story Began n 2015

The original initiative, under the name Flower Therapy World Day, was created by an italian organisation and celebrated in 2015 and 2016.

In 2015, Franchelle Ofsoské-Wyber, in her role as founder and creator of First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® was contacted and invited to travel to Italy to participate in the inaugural celebration.

In 2017, she took up the mantle of this global event to ensure its ongoing life and the fulfilment of its greater purpose – placing it fully under her spiritual guidance and vision.

A Day That Honours The Sacred Relationship Between Human Beings and Nature

Franchelle’s intent and commitment have been to uphold a day that honours the sacred relationship between human beings and Nature, and to raise awareness of flower essence therapy as a powerful nature-based modality for holistic wellbeing.

In 2020, she renamed the celebration World Flower Therapy Day and has led the global observance each year on 24th September, establishing it as a recognised annual event within the flower therapy and holistic healing communities worldwide.

A Powerful Collective Act Of Service – FREE Consultations Worldwide

Each year on the 24th of September, our dedicated community of registered First Light® practitioners – who have trained with Franchelle through the First Light© College of New Zealand Native Flower Essence Therapy – step forward to offer FREE First Light® flower essence therapy consultations in their community.

This is a powerful collective act of service, undertaken to celebrate Nature and her healing gifts

– and to raise awareness of flower essence therapy as a powerful, accessible, nature – based holistic healing modality.

2025: A New Cycle Begins

This year is the 11th year of World Flower Therapy Day and marks the start of a new cycle. From this year, the official date of World Flower Therapy Day is 17th of September.

The Archetype of the Healer

Franchelle says that this date holds a specific spiritual and metaphysical significance and falls within the Virgo Season with the archetype of the Healer.

This shift strengthens the alignment with the spiritual principles that underpin World Flower Therapy Day, deepening its connection to Franchelle’s vision and reaffirming its role as a day of sacred service, healing and honouring the intelligence of Nature.
